Earners vs. Xurners -- lets end this now!
We all know the only way to earn gear is to put in the time and get it from raids or strikes etc from engrams.
Why do people persist to say getting coins is earning the exotics. They might as well put up a free sign and just have Santa Xur give you what ever you want while sitting on his lap.
Basically your a mouth breathing casual if your buying the trash from Xur. People need to put in the work and go do a raid for once in their life. You know a boss fight .. derp
People complaing about stuck at 29 are in the same casual boat. Do work like us 30's did you lazies. We weren't sitting at Xur feet waiting for scraps... we were killing bosses

I'm in college and play football, it's tons of work so I don't have time and need xur to drop off a gift every once in a while. I have the gear to be 30 if I wanted it's just not the gear for my playstyle. It contains too much strength and not enough intellect for my liking since I'm a warlock. Im stuck at 28 because I haven't received any raid armor the passed 3 weeks

RNG isn't perfect, i know it, you know it, the world knows it. but in the end its what we are stuck with and you guys might as well get use to it. a player going 1-24 in pvp getting an exotic and a 40-1 player getting nothing is one of its flaws. oh and earning 27 coins playing the weekly is not "hard" work its lazy work as it takes 0 skill or effort to obtain the coins.

3 Replies2 days ago took a friend into the raid for his first time. We 5 manned the raid because he could not do damage, so we had him hide....Mind you he has only owned the game for 10 days! In this one raid, his first time in a raid, standing back and hiding he received raid feet, raid chest, raid gauntlets and raid cloak and several weapons...So he only needs to get an exotic helmet from Xur....by next week he will be a lvl 30 in less then 20 day of purchase of the game....So being a lvl 30 does not equate to your skills on the stick.....It does not mean sh*t....!

I somewhat agree. I think it would be fair if it cost like 50 strange coins for a weapon and 25 for an armor. That way you really have to think about it before you buy. I have 3 characters and I get around 50-60 coins a week and with how it is currently I can buy 2 armors and the weapon each week without even having to struggle. I think the cost of them needs to be raised.

I'm level 30 I've gotten weapons for rng and I've purchased weapons Armour the same I've done the raid 20 times Nightfall every week I have 100 coins am I not supposed to use them? Stfu -
The only thing I earned in respect to Destiny is the money I used to purchase it. I suspect one of your parents earned the money that was used to purchase your copy. Am I wrong?

3 RepliesYea man I will tell you what the ten minutes it took me to run trough a lvl 24 tiger strike for patience and time really wore me out. It was so tough "earning" it that I had to take a break afterwards and drink like a gallon of water.

It takes work to earn coins. Xur only sells on exotic weapon a week, and not all of them (that I can tell.) Get off your imagined high horse and let people play the way they want.

To be honest its all by chance regardless, if you buy with coins or if it drops out of thin air as a loot item. However, that being said it makes the game more enjoyable to be surprised to receive an exotic weapon that you have spent hours raiding for or pvp ing for. So I choose you crazy Bungie game of chance. Xur your just a sad imitation of my hard spent hours killing vecs and shooting ten year olds in crucible.

2 RepliesYou don't EARN anything with RNG drops. It's luck. I got Gjallahorn from nightfall last night. Did the other two guys do less then me? Did I "EARN" my Gjallahorn while they only earned SHARDS or Blue Engrams? No don't be ridiculous. The only way you actually "EARN" anything is by getting tokens from defeating missions. You get more tokens for defeating tougher missions and doing more and more missions. Then you can then spend those hard earned tokens (which is the only thing you can actually guaranteed earn from a mission) and spend it upgrading your gear. Go cry some more about some having the same weapon you got lucky winning.
