My whole thing about the One is the lack of backwards compatiblilty...yes I know and understand their reasoning for it and I'm not saying they are wrong. But for a (originally) $400 price tag I can get a pc or laptop that would have more functionality than just games. And even with the 350 or what ever the current price drop to is, I'll not get it or think about it till it'ss at least at $299. My reasoning is the value of it, to me, is not worth the price they originally asked. Now if I get the One and destiny is still acting up, and it's not on my end, I will still be annoyed and defensive of the 360. But even more so towards bungie cutting things out of thier game. (Funny enough is the sections you can get to but are glitch through wall sections)

  • Well that's your choice, but you're only hurting yourself, gaming experience wise. The backwards compatibility would have turned the original $500 xbox set into an $800 set, and even $500 was pushing it a bit too far. Also, a pc/computer for $350/$400 would not really run any games at anywhere near the level of the xbox one or ps4.

  • Well not yet, but you will soon enough. And I'm talking about modern games. Could your computer run Titanfall at an equivalent graphical setting to the xbox one, and run it at the equivalent fps rate without issues? Microsoft and Sony have a problem, a 2 part problem to be specific, and they're trying their hardest to solve it. I haven't done any research on Sony, but here's what I do know: -Why are people hesitant to buy the next gen consoles? There aren't enough games/exclusives to warrant the purchase. -Why is there a lack of exclusives/games for the next gen consoles? Because not enough people have them to warrant developers to move on from the old consoles consoles. I believe the original profit margin on the $500 xbox one package was $20, that's 4%... Take out the kinect, and you can sell it for $400, probably for a similar profit percentage. They are currently selling xbox one packages with 1-2 games for $350. I don't know the contractual agreements that allow this to happen, but going off of base prices they're likely losing a lot of money getting those xbox ones out there. Hats off to you if you can figure out why they would sell a product at a negative profit margin, because you'll be one of the intelligent few that can do it on your own. The faster everyone upgrades, the faster we see increased quality of games.

  • To your question, no...but i wouldnt play titanfall. Hell still might not. A game i'm going to buy needs a campaign, not a multiplayer only. There's a reason why ShadowRun didn't last long or do well.
