The standard versions of each of the enemies are fine. It's when they have different modifiers on that they become a pain in the arse. Shielded Psions with Epic modifier - they take some punishment before they'll go down! Stealth Vandals with Lightswitch - two hits and you're out. Phalanx with Angry - they never drop their shields so you just have to keep chipping away at their arms!
