Deploying friendly AI into the world to make it look like you've made some progress.

Seeing as we're getting a moon DLC with major offenses against the Hive and seeing as we have had plenty of time to run all rampant all over the moon, wouldn't it be great if the City deployed a group of titans of one of its orders to secure something like say, the abandoned colony base near the Hellmouth? It'd actually show that we're making some progress instead of feeling like a failing pest control company. One could even add a new public event defending the new City outpost alongside these new friendly AI titans that do little more than act like the AI already in the game guarding their area. Occasionally, Fallen or Hive might attack them and you'd be able to see a firefight every time you enter the zone, making the world and moon seem more alive. Thoughts?

  • YES. One of the best parts about these types of games is seeing the rest of the world live without you. Whether it's People battling Rogues in Dragons Dogma, or joining a fire fight in Mass Effect with smart NPCs, or whatever. It would also be nice to go to an outpost to purchase ammo synthesis or unique bounties, rather than to have to go "out sh** I forgot" and leave the action, load, goto the tower, load, goto the gunsmith, buy, goto orbit, load, go back to the planet, load, and get back into the action. Seeing guardians fight The Fallen or The Hive in a public event would definitely add to the experience of a global war, pushing back The Darkness, taking back our lost homes. I always said, a big military style battle against the Cabal as they march on you with their shield phalanxes would have been epic. Or hopping on top of the outpost and getting on a chain gun nest. Especially if the NPCs ACTUALLY had good dialogue, lol.. and you could actually press square and talk to them, rather than stand in their face and wait for them to mutter something valuable LOL
