You have a very interesting perspective on things I will give you that
But you realize to accept Jesus is to be like someone released from prison due to good behavior and then going on to be a productive member of society.
Also you realize that "scapegoat" ends up in heaven? So that person doesn't even go to prison.

My understanding is that Christians do this so they aren't relegated to a life in Hell because they won't be judged by God for their own sins any more.
