Particularly the woman and man being senseless part
Animals are not meant to have a soul mates. Biologically we are not supposed to be monogamous in order to further the species in an optimum manner. That's why for two people of the same sex, who are not able to have children, marriage is more acceptable ;)

If your not capable of propagating the species (same sex) marriage is perfect lol I think I was trolling-ish back in November.
• Who are you quoting, yourself? Also it still doesn't change the fact that there are animals that have permanent mates.

 • And if those animals keep it up they'll go extinct even faster

 • No, let's take the coy wolf for example. It's numbers are rising and surprisingly fast. Scientist are actually mystified as into how it became so successful. It's one of the best animals of the era. They also have life partners. Also animals wouldn't evolve a trait that would result in their extinction. It goes against the theory of evolution.

 • Not really. Did you even look into it or did you just quote it and claimed false. Even if the first part is wrong you didn't even acknowledge the second part.

 • Ok second part kinda seems legit. Def looked into the first part and is false. Coy wolf is just a term used for a hybrid of wolves and coyote. Furthermore, evolution is still a little shaky, it's not infallible. Sometimes, even evolution messes up

 • Coy wolf is accounted as an entirely new species. No it's not fake, I watched an entire documentary about it. It's also not a hybrid between any wolf and coyote. It's two specific species who cane to together to make an entirely new species. Almost like a liger or a mule. (Although those aren't technically new species because they can't reproduce) Evolution doesn't make mistakes. It wouldn't have evolved that way if it didn't work. Only time evolution fails is when an outside force changes.

 • Monogamous relationship between a man and a woman have been in our species for a long time now. Even a quick search shows that many other species practice monogamy as well. That's not to down play homosexual relationships though.

 •
http://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/animals/photos/11-animals-that-mate-for-life/gibbons There you are sir.
Who's to say that they don't have souls? That there is a connection that's deeper than math and biology

 • I literally just said they do have soul mates.

 •
I literally just said they do have soul mates.
Multiple replies threw me off, but I agree with you. To perpetuate the species to its optimal state mathematically it's wrong to just have one mate. Living things supposedly "evolve" as a species to continue our overall growth. But what is it that has us choosea significant other for life? I feel, it's deeper than evolution and should be respected on all fronts... but if your truly looking at the greater good of the species it is quite silly

 • Many birds, frogs, and even wolves have soul mates. Wolves in particular will morn the death of their soulmate and will perhaps stop having the will to live. But please go on??
