I tend to do whatever the people I'm matched up with are doing though would prefer to run past enemies that I don't have to kill. More strikes completed = more guaranteed rewards, rather than hoping for something from the RNG and wasting your time.
If I wanted to farm engrams, I'd do that shit in patrol.
