Personally I never felt the way you have about Titans. My favourite class is the warlock but I have a great admiration for titans. Playing as either a striker, your front line player they are awesome and as a defender they act as a guardian to guardians especially in the VoG. My toss up was always Warlock or Titan, even in the beta. As for my own friends list, I've bonded with a few different people all with there own play style and favourite class. Sure some are titans but not that many.
