I'm so Excited for the Dark Below!!!!
I was looking through the amazing items that they're giving you with the Dark Below. ALL those awesome guns, cloaks, helmets, gauntlets, ETC ETC.
That's like a BUNCH of awesome gear!
What's even more amazing is that they TOTALLY made that in the PAST month since launch!
Like... it's kind of amazing they could've made all those pieces of gear AND the strikes as WELL as a raid in ONE month!!
I'm seriously amazed at the guys at Bungie. Totally working so hard to pull of that much content in ONE MONTH.
Like dang, super impressed. I guess that means at this rate we'll have about 24 dlc strikes, 12 raids, and TONS of gear per year!
(Y'know, based off the fact that they totally made that in ONE month. JUST ONE.)
I guess it will cost... y'know... like 30 bucks per TWO expansion passes, which will quickly add up to ten times more than the actual game was. BUT HEY.
This does beg the question though... if they could make all that stuff in ONE MONTH, why is there such a limited variety of actual items you can buy in the tower..............??????????????//
Oh well, whatever! I love Bungie!!

1 ReplyI'm very excited...b/c I need 3 pieces to have 3 level 30's and I am bored...and don't wanna be!! I wanna keep playing. I wondered why Destiny wasn't going to have an event this week and make a big deal during CoD release...and then I realized that Activision wants a clear path for its baby.

1 ReplyArticles with interviews all over say they worked on it three months before launch which was apparently way after completing the original copy. But I'm still excited too!

1 ReplyIt took a month to finish the content. They had part of the raid done, but it wouldn't be any fun if they didn't have time to put the enemies in. They could have started making this raid in June. If it wasn't going to be finished by mid August, it wasn't going in the game.

2 RepliesSpeaking of this. I swear I saw an old video with Bungie demonstrating they could creat gear sets and entire maps in just minutes. It might have been GDC. That was a long one. Like an hour or more.

Like... it's kind of amazing they could've made all those pieces of gear AND the strikes as WELL as a raid in ONE month!!"[/i] I've been pretty on the fence about whether or not the DLC was fully complete before launch, but now that you bring this up I think it's safe to say they were in fact working on DLC, if not removing content, prior to launch.
