Couldn't agree more. The game is absolutely fantastic, but is severely lacking in gameplay value. And with the PlayStation getting an extra strike, I fell like Bungie is punishing us Xbox players for buying their game. Don't get me wrong, I love both Xbox and PlayStation, but when you have both consoles paying $19.99 for a DLC that leaves out a whole Strike mission for Xbox, I feel ripped off. I feel like you don't care for your Xbox fans; the ones who have loved your Halo games and cherished every one of them like our children. The ones who were really looking forward to Destiny after Halo 4 didn't deliver 100%. And now we suffer a lack of gameplay due to a money agreement with Sony? Hell, if you did that with Xbox and left PlayStation in the same state we are in, I'd still be mad! I understand exclusives and timed-exclusives, but when your "timed-exclusive" DLC strike will not be available for at least a year, it is absolutely ridiculous to have us pay the same price as them. (OK, done with rant) I also find a problem in the PvE part of the game: it gets boring. Personally, I enjoy the PvE section more than PvP (mainly due to the fact that I am better at Call of Duty-like PvP and I suck at Halo-like PvP :p), but it begins to feel repetitive. Collecting resources feel like a pain, and playing the same strikes over and over again gets annoying. And weren't we promised better customization of armor? I think this is more of Activision's fault than it is Bungie. Bungie has always been loyal to the fans. Activision is probably trying to pull more money out of our pockets for a game that is unfinished. Why is it unfinished? Because Activision wants to make more money off of DLC! If 343i can make the huge fan service that is the Master Chief Collection, then Bungie can easily make an awesome new game if they had full creative freedom. (Wow, did another rant. Well now I'm done with rants :p) I tip my hat off to you sir for the idea of the Tower being attacked because it would be, for a lack of better words, soooooo cool! I really hope Bungie listens very closely to the fans, just like they did with Halo. And if it is Activision that is causing this problem then grrrrrr. I give you the largest bump physically possible and hope you find a dollar or something randomly on the street. Hope to see you in game!
