Well, am I excited, no not at all. Looking forward to the dlc, meh, more so looking forward to the reviews before I even consider it. To be completely honest, i probably won't get the dlc, but not because we didn't get the game that was pitched at E3 in 2013 shortly before I pre ordered based off of that whole ordeal, but rather because Activision has gutted another promising game, and gaffled my cash yet again. Bungie had all the right ideas, they had two separate gaming communities to look after, and we would have expected to do the same in return, but now where some are divided, some have completely severed themselves from destiny. Is there hope for this game? sure, there's hope for anything as long as people continue to support it. But at the same time, that in which people hope for, needs to give them reason to do so. That being said, Bungie, remember you are dealing with two communities/platforms, one is skeptical already, but if you care for them both, the will support you 100%, and with that kind of support, you dont need Activision to lead you into the realm of cash cows and unsatisfied consumers, because then, you will have loyal, satisfied consumers who are proud to stand by you because you stood by them. Also, while I may be a PS fan/owner, don't forget where you guys came from. Show them some love. Remember Bungie, 2 Communities, 1 Goal. You guys that have complaints, I agree with a lot of ya, but if you think for a second Bungie or Activision give a rats ass what's being said on these forums to the extent that it will deter them from the road they're on, it might. But you should possibly think about going about it a different way, as trolls will be trolls, and you probably have a better chance being heard by submitting feedback. Also, you may stand less of a chance of getting into a ridiculous argument with some forum squatter. Anyways, I hope for the sake of those still interested in the game, that this dlc is exceptional, whole I hope for those like myself, will find some faith that Bungie is going to redeem themselves. Time will tell.

3 Repliesthey could make a big coliseum with a bunch of awoken or another race of alien just sitting in the stands then the queen comes out of her chair and says "open the gates of hell" and big ol fat boy Crota comes out and he's so big that you have to jump on the ridges on his back like in shadow of colossus as others blast away at his cyclops eyes that he uses up and down his arms and chest while a new type of hive comes out that look like big leopards or cheetahs and they attack and their is flying hive that look like wasps and sting like em too. No cheap if you miss one enemy you die crap like the oracles. It should be fun but also it should be really hard with precision needed. Tbh all I really want are good drops that lower the chance of getting repeated every time you get them

6 RepliesAll I play is pvp mostly and it makes me disappointed that there are only 3 new maps and not 4 or 5. Tbh it'd be cool to actually go to places where we fought enemies in pve and make the place pvp like in halo so many maps could be made it makes my mouth water. Then there is the cool idea of making your team name other than alpha and bravo and adding set loadouts with weapon spawns depending on skill and kills and having no kill streak bonuses like in halo 4. Hopefully bungie comes through cause I'm sitting on a 3.4 k/d for my last game and repetition might actually cause me to lose

11 RepliesThis may have been mentioned before but I believe a great way to bond guardians together could be utilized in the tower. Along with our new chat options what if we had a way to summon guardians for help by having a message line above our gamer tag like "Nightfall" or "VOG" letting them know in advance, the assistance you need. Then all they would have to do is come up to you and join your fireteam. Another way to do this would be to have a board a lot like the bounty board that you could access, that you could either create an invitation with or answer invitations... this would be great if you were able to leave the tower afterwords to go on to farming or something of that nature waiting for people to join. I'm sure you could create some kind of time limit that it would be posted or until you had a full fireteam, and I'm sure there are other logistics that come into play based on servers and technical stuff that I know nothing about. These are just ideas and I'm sure there are a million more but as a line survivor of a once everyday fireteam, it gets lonely out there at times. All my friends have left the game and moved on to other games due to boredom as they put it but honestly, I have never been bored with this game. Disappointed a few times after it launched and we didn't get the things promised like the ability to barter and trade with other guardians, but I have never gotten bored and I play it just about every night that I can.
