Everyone needs to listen to the people touting destinylfg.com. I've been off this game for a month because I absolutely HATED the fact that there was no matchmaking for the raid and the idea of searching forums and stuff people were telling me I had to do to get a fireteam going was a little intimidating, so I kinda just gave the game up... But as soon as I heard about the site over the weekend, I decided to give it a shot because I like the game for what it is, a fun and amazing shooter with just a few annoying problems. As soon as I used the site, I had a group for the raid in 10-15 min for my first ever run-through! I was so happy with the results that I used it to complete the weekly strikes last night =] This has completely changed my outlook on the game and I am absolutely hooked again. The community is amazing with mostly great people just wanting to help (Xbox One) and I now understand that only the people who haven't done the raid yet are the people that are asking for matchmaking. Let me say, it is definitely a challenging feat of gaming that can only be accomplished with a TEAM working together and communicating, not complete strangers only looking out for themselves. Tl;dr destinylfg.com is all you need to experience the other half of this amazing game that I know A LOT of people are missing out on and have already given it up, I almost did! =( so looking forward to more content. how much of my life do I have to waste to get an exotic weapon?

This is exactly what Destiny needs. I know I personally am freakin excited for this and that I will be one of the first to tread into the dark below. I have what you might call a raid team, but I'm always looking for people or groups to play with. My guardians get very lonely sometimes, but I try to add friends all the time! This message board is for the new DLC, but why not try to make friends on here? If I go solo on a mission, and I see someone else playing alone, I invite them to my fireteam, or join theirs it its public.. That's the beauty of Destiny! Anyone and everyone is fighting for the same cause. We're all pushing back the darkness. I would like to see a raid eventually take place on Earth, preferably the Tower. Yes you heard me right, raid in the tower. Just think about it. An invasion on earth and the last city, and all the guardians break out to fight the enemy (hive and fallen are the only ones dumb enough to try a maneuver like that) We fight and fight and the speaker is moved to a safe place so we can try to wake the traveler back up. Eventually the light of the guardians fighting is enough to wake the traveler. After that the traveler sends out like an EMP wave that disintegrates any and all remaining darkness left on earth. This is too much for the traveler to bare and it goes back to sleep again, more damaged than it was before. Although, the last city and tower are safe....for now. burning crusade cost 30 bucks 8 years ago, it came with a new world, 6 zones filled with over 1000 quests across 2 opposing factions, 7 dungeons(strikes) 5 raids, and 2 new playable races, and it took a year to beat. the dark below costs 20 dollars, no new worlds, no new zones, no new races, one npc who is probably just as hollow as the rest of the tower, 1 strike(unless you are a playstation user), 1 raid, and 3 pvp maps. now if they follow the traditional activision dlc formula as cod(which they probably will) there will be 3 more dlc over the course of the next year with the same amount of content, for a total of 4 strikes(8 for playstation) 12 quests, 4 raids, and probably no new worlds or zones. for a total price of 80 bucks, u will get half of what world of warcrafts burning crusade gave you.

I wouldn't mind having a few cut-scenes similar to this within the actual game. Plot keeps people playing your game more than you may think.
