Digital Upgrade Program

Hi, just recently bought a PS4, yay me, now I have an issue upgrading and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong if anything. Using the only PSN login I have, I've managed to download the Expansion I purchased on both systems, but the digital game (and the ONLY one available on the PS Store), is apparently going to cost me $, I proceed all the way up to the "entering in payment option information (credit card/paypal/code), and there seems to be no indication that I own Destiny in any way. This occurs on both PS3 and PS4. For reference, and I'm wondering if this is the issue, I purchased a Vanguard Armoury Edition from EB Games very close to your release date (but not as a pre-order). They led me to believe this should be fine for an upgrade. Sorry if this is a repeated tag/topic, this forum navigation doesn't play well for me.
