Thorn buff suggestions

Since we know the Thorn buff is coming, lets discuss it. First off, I love Thorn, I think it performs well, but it's not quit that "exotic." There are many small issues with Thorn that would be fine by themselves, but add up to be a bigger plight. 6 shots with the current damage output is not enough to register a reload speed slower than a machine gun. The 2nd skill tree doesn't go with the gun. I would replace them with High-caliber rounds(Thorn doesn't have much stability to begin with, so why not?), Send it(This thing is like a sniper rifle already), and and flared magwell(That is if Bungie decides not to change the reload speed, if they DO upgrade reload speed, I'd replace this with field scout or something that increases max mag size). And of course we all know that the MoTD timer needs to be fixed. It should either stack(2 rounds make lingering damage do 14 instead of 7) or refresh the timer with each shot. Feel free to post more suggestions below.

  • You must be nuts to think the perfect balance perk can be removed, that will effectively half the rate of fire because of how much longer it'll take to line up the gun properly for any consecutive shots!! Especially to replace that perk with high calibre rounds, on a weapon with such a low rate of fire already?
