I'm sure there's technical issues when doing a patch that only people at bungie understand.

Of course, I work in the software development industry myself. The standard is usually fix one problem create 5 new ones. Good practice = taking the time to fix it right vs pushing out junk. So hopefully once it's fixed its fixed.
