What about those of us (myself not included) who have achieved rank 2 or 3 or higher with multiple factions?

it doesn't have anything to do with the rank on the factions... You simply represent one of them in battle against the other 2 factions of a Special Event... that's my whole idea.. it's that simple...

"Guardians align with a faction" just seemed a bit ambiguous to me, you may want to clarify in your OP that guardians will choose which faction they choose to represent, maybe "guardians align with a faction of their choice" I'm really into this idea btw.. No need to be down putting, im not dumb, I'm just trying to help flesh out the idea. I would love to see this as become a way for players who play primarily pvp to earn reputation with a faction of their choosing without having to do pve rep grind stuff. Great idea man, would love to see an event like this.

Right, I get that. I was asking what your plan was for how Guardians select which faction they represent. Ie if I have only rank 3 dead orbit, it's obvious, I fight for dead orbit. But if I have rank 3 for all 3 factions, do I pick which one I want to fight for? That's why I asked that question.

at the start of the weekend when it appears... you simply choose 1.... it don't matter what rank you have in any... you choose the one you fight... that's what I've been talking about the whole tyime you're reading way too into it.... even if you have just Dead Orbit ranked... doesn't mean you have to choose Dead Orbit... one weekend choose Dead Orbit.. one weekend choose FWC... it's your choice.
