Listen. I'm a hunter as well, and hunters really are useless in the VoG. We die way to quick and we have no team buffs like the titan and sun singer warlock do. Hunters aren't great at PvE. It's the truth. I do love my hunter but we're just not strong at PvE. I will say this..we hunters are boss at the oracles.

if you think any of the classes are useless you don't know how to play them all have the fine points warlock and titan may have the buffs but with golden gun and 2 throwing knifes oracles, praetorians and supplicants all go down quick.

I have all three classes and raid with all of them on hard (no cheesing) and I enjoy playing the hunter in raid most of all.....those that think their hunter is useless for raid are simply huntards with no skill, the high agility is amazing for quickly escaping from trouble, especially during the oracles on Templar, and golden gun makes short work of praetorians and oracles.

And I used my hunter when I got the flawless raider trophy, my psn is Knightmare_1985, the trophy is there for proof

Edited by Mezuka: 10/27/2014 2:32:55 AMI don't know about you, but I do well in the VoG with my hunter or PvE in general. I have both my subclasses maxed and use them for different scenarios. When it comes to the raid I prefer gunslinger as its best for dishing damage at a distance. Now If you're planning on cheesing, we are not the go to class as our grenades are less AoE.

Reasons hunters are good in PVE: golden gun can deal high damage to targets that are too dangerous to go near, like bosses, blade dancers can go invisible to revive teammates, trip mine grenades will stop enemies in their tracks (due to AI), and you can change stats to have higher armor for less speed/recovery.
