helping lower members
I am a member of several groups on the forum and recently I have seen more and more lower levels requesting help and being ignored because everyone wants level 28+ members for VoG or nightfall.
I have decided to take it upon myself to make sure I help those lower levels rather than take the easy route and go with all higher members. I did the raid twice last week with 2 groups where the highest member other than me was 26. It took a bit longer but everyone now knows what they are doing and can enjoy it for themselves.
I even got to help with a level 9 who I found while patrolling who was getting stuck on a level, dropped them a message and joined in making it a walk in the park for them.
I am going to be dedicating my playing days for November to helping out the lower guys and running through the raid with them showing them the chests and tricks etc.
Hopefully my fellow Guardians will join me and spare their time to help out, just post your gamertag and I will note them all here if anyone is stuck.

It's frustrating when doing a optional event. I helped a low level one time doing one of those. Fighting off a fallen Walker. I felt bad when I only recieved the shard though.

1 ReplyHey dude that's cool, I'm always welcome to help others and I have even witnessed it myself as I was playing as a lvl 12 and I came across a horde and got no help from the lvl 29 that was near. I have a lvl 30 already and I'm pretty good at the game but if the main power comes to cooperating when no one wants to help

1 ReplyI will be honest with you I do enjoy helping out lower level players. I am a 29 and by no means the best, but hold my own. I offered to help out someone last night (26) and something bothered me. We started with doiing the daily, i said no problem we can do it on 28 since I already solo'ed it, he wanted 26, so i practically solo'ed it again. Then we did the weekly on 28, practically solo'ed that. Then wanted help with xyor. We kept getting to the end, but for the life of me I just could not beat it, and I needed help. So I said I think we need a third, guy was like I am going to bed anyways, but thanks for the help. It was not the comment, it was the attitude with which is was said. I guess assuming because I am a 29 I can solo everything and am invincible. Not sure if other high rank players feel this ways, but sometimes I feel there are high expectations put out there on higher ranked players. Will I stop helping no, because I do enjoy helping and meeting new people

I would help lower levels if I didn't mind spending 6 hours to complete a raid that takes an hour with higher levels it's a time issue

Aodph33r i would like to help you out in what you are doing. I never done VoG tho, but I have done the weekly and nightfall solo before. I would consider myself pretty good in pve. I am on almost all the time. I'm a level 29 titan on ps3, psn is Lazarus_M.
