I feel you on this. People are so concerned with knocking the bosses off the edge. It's why I'm putting off raiding until I can get a One and raid with my friends. Doing the fight legit is a lot more fun than pushing Atheon and the Templar. The people that are adamant about doing it and start applying a eugenics-esque philosophy to VoG runs are the same kids who complain about Xur and how they "earned" their exotics

Agree I've quit on people who try to push atheon esp on normal. I'm like really? The 25 times you tried this we could have just beat him normally by now!!! We are lvl 29s for crying out loud!!

One time I was running a normal and we got to Atheon. We did a nearly perfect run with one portal phase left to kill him; Atheon bugs out and only teleports 2 people into the portal. We say okay bugs happen let's do it again. 2 portal phases and the 3rd portal phase bugs out, send back only 2 people again. Third attempt we go again have him down to 25% health 4th portal phase bugs out and sends back 2 people. Group as a whole says -blam!- Atheon. 5 mins later his ass is off the ledge. Fix the exploits, sure. But ffs fix the bugs too.

That and I've hit the Minotaur 4 times and he takes no damage at all or run thru the portal only to return to the same place it's annoying but on normal you overcome. I have pushed btw but only after I've done it normally and helping others
