Limited Xur timing is a slap in the face to busy players
I have been working my butt off to get strange coins to buy stuff from Xur. I have limited time to play. I am doing all I can to get ONE MORE strange coin before he disappears and I find myself wondering WHY on earth it has to be this way. Why can't Xur be available...you know, ALL weekend? TWO DAYS is nothing when I hardly have time to play in between my job, school, and family responsibilities. This really irks me. It really needs to be at least three days, because at this point I'm one coin short of getting the rifle I've been waiting a month for and it looks like I'm going to miss out again (doesn't help that servers crashed before I completed an event that could have given me that one coin....)
So cmon Bungie! Think about the busy players too! Sheesh.

I feel you bro. I wish there was a mechanic where your online friends could share resources. But remember good things come to people who wait.

I hit up a public event about an hour and a half before Xur was due to leave, followed by a few Tiger strikes. I didn't get any instant drops and only had about 15 minutes to go, so I headed to the Tower to decode my blues. Bam! My public event award was a strange coin. Having never owned an exotic I got a little giddy and sprinted off to see Xur... ...who wasn't there. God damn British Daylight Savings! The clock had gone back an hour and Xur had been gone for 45 minutes. The tragic irony being, if I'd gone straight to the Tower after the initial public event I'd have bagged the Suros. QQ

1 ReplyI agree. I was 1 coin short for Suros & played Tiger Strike for nearly 7 hours with no coin drops from the strike or turning in Engrams. It's like the drop rate is lowered when Xur is in the Tower. Really cheap if you ask me. Last time I checked weekends were Friday, Saturday & Sunday NOT Friday & Saturday, so 3 days would be more Customer-Centric.

1 ReplyMissed out on the ice breaker for that exact reason. Didn't have enough coins and no time to try and get some as was working most of that weekend. Gutted as really wanted it :(

I really don't care for the weapon. if you really want to shoot something like it for free keep your eyes peeled for a rare auto rifle named [b]surrender A[/b] it's a mini suros with the same upgrade tree. I really don't like xurs limited timing I feel your pain there. I knew I was going out of town this weekend and had to stay up till 4 am to catch his spawn because that was the only time I could check his stock before getting on a plane.
