Your option b is just silly. Of course everyone wants to be on top of leaderboard. Do you start a game and say "I really hope I'm mediocre this game"

Halo players do. Anytime you go positive your a cod scrub noob. Apparently they equate doing bad and losing as being good.

To be honest I Lol'd hard at this cause people with mediocre performances get the best drops and I do think to myself...should scrub this match?
