Honestly, the Golden Gun should be used for low level enemies just to generate orbs of light for teammates, since a primary weapon can easily out-damage the Golden Gun on bosses. (Just my opinion though.)

most everyone i've seen usually uses golden gun for oracles in the time gates at atheon. I also use gg as a panic dps during the templar confluxes and that pesky minotaur just blinked in and is sacrificing.

I replied to someone else also about gg on bosses (esp atheon) and yea it just doesn't make sense especially when you add in the animation which takes 2-3 seonds and your dps just goes down the drain.

A very correct opinion... I can't stand non hunters telling hunters how they should play. The first time I played against atheon I was yelled at because I wouldn't use my golden gun on him... They didn't understand it did 33% the damage my ice breaker did.

that and also when you factor in activation animations taking 2-5 seconds your dps is worthless compared to a normal primary/secondary.

Yeh and if really needed you take reduced damage in arc blade and speeds you up so you can use t effectively to save your ass and reposition or even quickly get someone up and dart back out of you ask me arc blade has more uses than just damage mind you I've never done the vault just working on starting
