Then why exactly are you playing... I mean the entire game (aside from a handful of story missions) has no guaranteed loot.

I have done the raid numerous time and have never gotten nothing... I don't always get more than shards or energy but I always walk away with something... plus I don't know anyone out of the three or four groups I run with who has not gotten "something" when they run it each week...

The least you will get each raid is about 20 energy or shards, could be 10 of each or 20 of one. It's worth doing just to stock up on these materials at the very least + it's very fun!
