Just because he's a Rapper does not make him the end all authority on games. Hell the two are unrelated. Wouldn't be surprised if this was a stunt by Nintendo to drum up some marketing numbers.

I don't think so. I think he's a pretty good rapper. Not his new, dark, and serious stuff. I mean his fun, fast pace, and awesome old stuff he used to do in D12 and Curtain Call.
