I played around with mods once or twice and I loved them but I decided that I like to play the game without them as the mods removed any challenge.
Also you should beat the game because its story will surprise you

I play destiny for the challenge it offers RNG basically, i play borderlands just to chill and see cool weapons that are easily available. it still boils down to the persons play style or how he want things to go.

so for me as of now both borderlands and destiny is 10/10 in my list. it both satisfies my 2 game style.
