When the beta had launched for this game all vendors within the tower, more specifically the faction vendors, had an alloted amount of faction shaders along with the rest of their inventory... On top of that "Eva Levonte" (A.K.A. Woman who torments me with "refreshed" stock of the same dagum stock as last week) Had an inventory that would constantly update and had a variety of shaders to purchase...
Now the game being out for over a month and a majority of players are wearing the EXACT same shaders because nothing is available to us... the game was supposed to be make yourself legend, Not homogenize every character until they all look the exact same...

I understand some loot and the necessity for keeping it RNG based but SHADERS!!!...Shaders are expressions of our personal taste and preference...there isn't some majical OP shader that needs a nerf nor buff...its a SHADER...and people should be able to dye their armor to their liking...
Shaders shouldnt be treated like an exotic item (unless they have truly exotic traits such as "Tron" lighted armor, or hive shaded armor with glowing green visor tints, in which case these could be harder to ascertain but should still be ATTAINABLE) and shouldnt be left to RNG or the forsaken Cryptarch to hand out in one of his oh so gracious "care packages" for leveling him up...
If anyone else is sincerely dissapointed or simply fed up and would like access to more shaders please sign/post here...
I thank you all for reading this as well ^-^

Edited by "function{this.Validate(),: 10/21/2014 8:41:55 AMI find it so dumb that shaders that are updated every few days, but then refresh shaders are identical to the last sets. If you are not going to have tons of shaders, then add a custom menu for custom shading and emblems like Halo had. That way you no longer have to worry about naming everything. Fusion rifles - ever since the first update, I had recently obtained the exotic bounty. From release to update 1, I received insane amounts of Fusion Rifles, which to my dislike of them really was frustrating. After update 1, I've spent more time playing destiny then I did from start of the story to end and have received zero fusion rifles in order to finish my bounty to obtain the exotic rifle I've been attempting to fulfill. Since release, I've had this bounty taking up a bounty slot, which has limited how many other bounties I can carry. Which has it me at a disadvantage and constant tower visits. How is this fair or balanced Bungie? Hall of the guardians is a waste of space currently that always looks abandoned. It's literally a hall of nothing. Generally when you have a hall of something there is a bit of AWE, but there is none to speak of. First we had the Queen, then the Iron Banner, which were not there at the same time either. It's a pointless waste of space. Identically, the hall of the guardians has a doorway that leads somewhere, as well as the the lower west side of the tower. That entire section, does not exist, yet it's clear that some other area is supposed to be there. Answer - it's probably just another waste of space. It's very apparent that several areas have been closed off in the worlds, that should be open. It's very clear that portions of the game were excluded specifically to become DLC. This action, along with the complete lack of story line and plot, which provides little to no explanation for anything. "The traveler saved us", but no information is given on how, why, when, what and where is did so, EVER. "The Traveler sacrificed itself to save us from the Darkness", but never says WHAT THE DARKNESS IS! Common sense would point towards the Fallen, Hive, Vex, Cabal and others, but nowhere does it explicitly state that they traveled to our solar system to destroy us, the traveler, or anything else. Currently, one can only gather that you withdrew parts of the game that made the story whole, in favor of DLC. This was the one thing that everyone across the board considers a blatant effort to trick people to buying an advertised full game, which is really a half game and pay extra for DLC, when DLC should have been included in game, to have a coherent storyline. You can't get much more blatantly obvious then Destiny. The ending scene for Destiny literally explained nothing but instead said - YAY!, take this rifle and the fight isn't over. Seriously, who read this story and said that it sounded good? The storyline is like a 6th grader wrote it. A game that is called Destiny, should nail plot and storyline. Why is it so obvious? You have bad guys protecting zones and areas where the access to other areas are. You wouldn't have that, because many are out of the way of anything else. There is no need to guard them when there is no access to be granted. It is obscene that Bungie is spending so much time changing the things people enjoy, example: cave farm, stating that it wasn't what they "envisioned" it to be played. You have got to be kidding me. I never received any legendary equipment from the cave or anything note worthy, but it was entertaining. Fact is, when people start making their own games within the game that exponentially increases replay value. Soccer, sparrow racing, cave farming, exploring secret areas, knocking Atheon over the edge, and more are all things about the game that are FUN. Why would you "fix" Atheon from falling off the edge? If Atheon falls of the edge, that's Atheons fault, otherwise you should make the same arrangement for Guardians and make them unable to fall either. It is not "equal or balanced" if enemies are restricted from falling, but Guardians fall when hit or pushed back. The game is fun, I'm being negative for specific reasons. Clearly you F$&@ed up here. It's bad, really bad, and stupid how much you did mess up. It's disappointing as the consumer. DLC should be outlawed. Currently, games are purchased at 59.99 per game. The average cost of a movie ticket = 17.99 depending on format, theatre and location. A 3D iMax movie costs 25.00 per person. This is still 35.00 less then a game, yet movies and games provide very similar products, the latter being interactive. For the most part expenses are similar and purchases can be similar. Yet here we are having half the stories taken out to sell us more products. Could you imagine seeing Avatar with the main character that has no idea who the blue people are, or why the humans are fighting them, but telling the character that the tree saved humanity with an ending that shows the main character beating a small portion of the humans and having one of the war Chiefs hand him a rifle and say we have more work to do. It would be awful and then a screen pops up to imply to see all the information, you need to get the DLC. We are already paying 35.00 more for the interactive part, get your shit together. This is harsh criticism, but necessary.
