Yep done this yesterday, a bunch of lower level guys were having a bit of difficulty opening the vault while I was farming bloom. A couple of my friends were in party chat with me on Mars. Next thing I know my two friends join my fireteam and we have 9 guys battling outside the vault. It was so much fun watching it opening and sending the raid team in their way.
