Hmm.. I have had over 20 different shaders so far.. have had enough that had to discard many of them just so would not fill up my vault with them. Gotten several from strikes and several from playing in the crucible.. so there more than just what she sell so is not really a big deal that they does not change them that often yet. Plus the game has only been out a month.. having lots of shaders is not a important issue that needs being fixed right away.

    But this is only your experience. See the issue with this game is no one has the same or equal experience. This is good and bad, but you could play for 5 hours a day get 3 shades a day, I could play 5 hours a day get 0 shaders a day. You could play and 6 hours a day, get nothing. I could play 1 hour a day and get a legendary everyday. The randomness cause this. Luckily with armor we have vangaurd vendors and what not. But it you don't stumble upon shaders there is only four for you to buy. All this because it's random, "your" experience means nothing except to say X doesn't bother you.

  • It is not meant to be the same experience for everyone. It is not meant to be easy for everything. It is rng, which means luck of the draw as in playing a lottery. Not everything is meant to be handed too you just for playing the game or given to you just because you played the game x amount of hours.

    Yes I know this! But RNG hand stuff to some people and not others. No it's not supposed to be the same, but time/ skill should = reward, and with RNG it simply doesn't. You can play for days and get nothing more than a free green and blues, Joey can play for a couple of hours and get a couple purple and yellows, that's not cool. My argument would prevent anything from being handed to anybody and everyone truly earns their stuff, not happens buy on chance.

  • Sorry but wrong, in most loot based games, time does not equal guranteed reward. Skill does not equal guranteed reward and it never has in loot based games ever. Guess you never played D/D2 where you could play for hours or days and never see a unique or set item and yet someone else in another game might walk away with a dozen in only half the time you played. That is how rng works and is meant to work. It is luck of the draw. It is not meant to be guranteed. This game is not meant to be that way just becuase you want it to so you think it is fair. It is not meant to be fair,. it is meant to be by chance just like any other loot based game out there. Go play WoW, LoTR, EVE, EQ, NWN, BL/BL2 and all of them are that way. There is no gurantee of items nor should there be just because you did X task for Y amount of time ever.

  • How am I wrong? I am not calming that this game is like this I am saying if they are making the claim that we are earning our equipment ten they should make all of us earn it

  • You do realize that earning the marks in crucible, the coins from the strikes, motes of light from decrypting things is earning them. So you do earn some things, You are not meant to have to earn every little thing just so some people can feel happy because it is fair in their eyes. It is not meant to be the same for everyone. It is not meant to be fair for everyone. That is how rng works. and yes it is fair that it works that way.

  • You seem to have not read the OPs post. He wants the shaders that were in the beta to be in the game. Which to be honest should be there but aren't. I was expecting the faction leaders to at least sell one or two shaders and I haven't seen them at all.
