I like when people use the word desticle. It's like calling someone "kid." It's an instant indicator that you have nothing intelligent to add to the conversation. It's the last resort of a mind that can't form a cogent argument. It's helpful, though, because it let's me know I can stop caring instantly. It immediately invalidates anything that came before or after, clearing the rest of the community from any real or perceived responsibility to do so. It's like poor grammar, excessive use of caps, or bigotry. It's a self-inflicted brand, warning off anyone with a reasonable amount of self respect or common sense; a luxury we can normally only dream of.
