Dude warlocks are far superior i mean have you used nice bomb its basically the titan smash that you throw. What about sun singer maybe the super isnt as good but the over shield upgrade with the scorch attack is insane you can get out of situations that you should have died from super easily. Lastly you have the best class upgrade recovery is the most efficient upgrade of them all. On the topic and you will find out that a titan with there armor maxed out( I mean the little bar when you look at the subclass) you will only be able to take 1 extra shot from a Sahara ar 2 auto rifle. Next the hunters maxed out agility vs a titan with the least amount if agility is only about 20 percent faster. Then you can see that the warlock with maxed out recovery vs a hunter with minimum recovery starts healing about 40 percent faster. All these things make the warlock an insane class no amount of armor can make a hunter or titan as insanely good as a warlock in pvp. I am not bias towards warlocks or against them I used both a hunter and warlock also I have a friend who uses the titan after a lot of testing I can say that warlock simply is the best class even there grande types are better and there melee I mean energy drain?! Thats just crazy good but thats for another topic.

  • You forgot to actually read my post. My post is not about nascent class balance. It is purely about armour balance. There is room for improvement and I call on Bungie to balance the example I gave, e.g. by buffing lock chests. The naked classes are well balanced, despite the complexity in doing so. You can pretend that the game's balance is currently perfect if you prefer. Bungie will be making adjustments. Player feedback will inform those adjustments.

  • First of all you don't need to activate your super to get the second grenade its a constant perk like the hunter getting 2 throwing knives secondly you must understand if the warlocks armor was as good as the titans then the warlock would be OP because he currently has the best subclass perks if you mix that with amazing armor it would just be way to good your simply complaining about an issue that isn't there. If we were just talking armor and the subclasses didn't exist then yes you would have a valid argument but the subclasses balance it out so the warlock is fine. Lastly no I don't think the game is perfectly balanced in fact I think its very unbalanced but let's talk about and report to bungie the real issues the stuff that is really causing problems not jousting getting pissed off because you think the warlock should have armor like the titans he shouldn't in games like this its not just about the armor the subclass has to be taken into account as well

  • But I think the op means no matter what class the Titan is, he gets 2 grenades. But a warlock only gets 2 grenades when using the sunsinger. Because even the void chest only grants an extra bolt. Which is specified to only one grenade type. But still the Titan has 2 grenades from a chest piece. And we (warlocks) don't get it from gear but a class type. In addition we don't get an exotic boot. Soooooooooo. And if you check I only play warlock, granted I don't have all exotic armoure and I'm not saying warlocks suck I'm just defining what I believe the poster is saying.

  • So what your telling me is your upset because warlocks have the best subclass and to even that out bungie gave you the lesser armor. Your also saying that you think its unfair that hunters and titans get am exotic of the worst piece of armor in the game heck i don't even know if they do can you name one piece of exotic leg armor I can't lastly you are saying that the titan chest plate armamentarium is op because it does what the sun singer class can do you realize how ridiculous your argument is? I hope so if not send another message I'll be glad to clear this up

  • The classes are well balanced. If they are not, armor perks is not the way to fix it. True. Played WoW extensively. My post is not about nascent class balance. It is purely about ARMOR balance.   • Lastly the armamentarium may be op but warlocks with sun singer can get a second grenade without needing to waste a exotic piece of armor so how is that not op

  • The two things are not comparable. They are different perks and different grenades. Above all, you cannot compare a perk available at all times with a perk which is dependent on the super which means the longest possible cooldown in the game.

  • The second warlock grenade is not dependent on the super. It's in a tree if it's own, where the options are stopping. Midair while flying, dual grenades at all time(except waiting on cool down time for both grenades) (which can be fixed by using melee cool down grenade) and the first one which I can't remember off the top of my head. I'm not debating your op just huge statement above saying your 2nd grenade is super dependent, cuz it is not.

  • You cannot compare one armour perk with a slightly different class perk and call that balance. These are two totally different things. Your argument seems to be that warlocks are overpowered therefore other classes need better armour. That misses the point. The classes are well balanced. If the classes were not balanced, gear would not be the way to address that. And I am referring to specific anomalies in balance affecting certain items. Clearly, this is a case of some tweaks being needed to improve armour balance, and clearly not a case of Bungie trying to use gear as a way to balance classes as you suggest.

    I know. But you said in the post in replying too, that the 2nd grenade is super based/dependent. And I'm informing you it is not. Edit: and I never said warlocks are overpowered either, nor am I supporting that notion.

  • Ok, you mean the Gift of the Sun perk. For so many reasons, this subclass perk is not comparable to the armour perk in question. But the main point is, the classes are balanced while the gear is not. Locks also lack exotic boots. The list goes on.

  • Yeah I know. I posted Somewhere else about the 2 grenade perk for titans. Being available to all their classes overall cuz it's gear based not class based. I'm not arguing I'm just informing on the subclass for gift of sun.
