I find it fun when I have more kills than someone else, is that so wrong? It's not like I go and rub it in people's faces or anything. As for "you're playing a game, you're already wasting time" That is complete and utter bullshit! I play games to have fun, and having fun is not a waste of time! I'm sorry if playing the game my way, and thus having fun my way, does not jive with your sense of having fun. Generally speaking, people have X amount of time per day to play, and so, unless they have fun by helping other people, they want to maximize the amount of fun they have per day.
