So I'm assuming that this is specifically about the raid? Most gamers nowadays will only play games if they have some sort of reward involved (hence achievements and unlockables). Most aren't going to be willing to try and go through a raid with people who have never done it as they assume it will be a waste of time. That being said, there are still people like me who enjoy running through the raid with "raid virgins" as you put it. Despite the fact that it's enjoyable for me, I also don't want my time wasted. You may consider gaming a waste of time, but I do it for enjoyment, and if some random guy in my group is dying just because it's funny or he refuses to work with the team, that's not only preventing me from playing the raid with other groups; it's also insulting to me as I'm spending my own personal time to help a new group learn the raid. While I do always expect deaths and a little chaos from new groups, if someone is purposely dying "for the lols" or will not work together with the team, I don't see that as "funny little time wasting". I see it as an insult to me and the rest of the group that want to complete the event and not be stuck in the same spot for an hour.
