Where are the SHADERS!!!
[b]When the beta had launched for this game all vendors[/b] within the tower, more specifically the faction vendors,[b] had an alloted amount of [/b]faction [b]shaders along with the rest of their inventory[/b]... [b]On top of that "Eva Levonte"[/b] (A.K.A. Woman who torments me with "refreshed" stock of the same dagum stock as last week)[b] Had an inventory that would constantly update and had a variety of shaders to purchase[/b]...
[b]Now [/b]the game being out for over a month and[b] a majority of players are wearing the[i] EXACT[/i] same shaders because nothing is available to us[/b]... [b]the game was supposed to be make yourself legend, [i]Not [/i]homogenize every character until they all look the exact same...

[b]I understand some loot and the necessity for keeping it RNG based but [i]SHADERS!!![/i][/b]...[b]Shaders are expressions of our personal taste and preference[/b]...there isn't some majical OP shader that needs a nerf nor buff...its a SHADER...and [b]people should be able to dye their armor to their liking[/b]...
[b]Shaders shouldnt be treated like an exotic item [/b]([i]unless they have truly exotic traits such as "Tron" lighted armor, or hive shaded armor with glowing green visor tints, in which case these could be harder to ascertain but should still be ATTAINABLE[/i])[b] and shouldnt be left to RNG[/b] [b]or the [/b]forsaken [b]Cryptarch to hand out[/b] in one of his oh so gracious "care packages" [b]for leveling him up[/b]...
If anyone else is sincerely dissapointed or simply fed up and would like access to more shaders [b]please sign/post here[/b]...

Stay tuned for future paid expansions, they will bring for the first time actually some story, a few shaders and one or two other things that were cut.

I have so many shaders that I have to mail them to alts and even then it's taking up 5-7 spaces in the bank. They need a larger section of shaders holding.

6 RepliesAgreed I have been after God of war since the start, 100s of hours play do I have it? no. Do I get the same shit over and over again? You bet. Fix this bungie because it's one of the biggest annoyances with your game, and one that will make me stop playing.

It's obvious they locked half the shaders for the expansion. Don't see how hard it is to just make more for each dlc pack. They had them done already, and someone said why don't we lock some and include them for dlc? Simply as that.

I agree, the beta was overloaded with shaders and now we have a handful of them. 8 OUT OF 10 SHADERS SUCK ROYAL ASS. No, I don't want to look like a jester or cicero, no I don't need this or that extreme red/orange/white color, and hell-to-the-no I'm not about to equip a shader that colors my boot strap. How about some decent grays, blacks, dark greens, something to work with. Since Dead-ass Orbit is so gothy with Bill Nighy in a goatee, what do I have to do, hope for a dark shader with their levels? Ridiculous.

I am disgusted with the way they did shaders, my characters never are as I imagine because there are NO shaders for them to use to fit the bill. So much for character customization. Way to go Bungie.

5 RepliesAgreed. The lack of Shaders in this game is a problem. Currently I have to choose between my gear being horridly mismatched, or being white/pink/blue. This is nothing like the black and yellow, and black and red shaders that I was expecting. The only shaders that I feel have been handled properly are Chatterwhite and Million Million.

Better yet, let players have the option to customize their armour colour as well as ships even, if this is a MMO then that customizable option should be implemented in the game it customizes your guardian/shop to your personal preferences and taste.

The only reason i preordered CoD was to guarantee myself a shader i could enjoy. I preordered after day 3 of launch, since i had been using an ugly green one. Blacksmith has always been reliable. Never buying CoD btw, definitely switching that preorder.

I thought they should also be able to swap the color, find a blue with a silver ring shader you got a blue suit with silver accents If we could reverse it silver with a blue ring ya got a silver suit with blue accents, alot more diversity for characters

3 RepliesI think this is the most ridiculous thing. Bungie has stated they want us to customize, but there are only like 3-4 shaders that people use. I lved my Chatter White shader...until I noticed whoever had that shader pretty much used it. I like to be an individual, I can't do that in this game, other than race and class. Bungie made a great game, but has dropped the ball on such elementary things. Even if there were variations, like a Chatter White with red accents, or blue, or black accents. As mentioned, a Hive shader sounds awesome. Bungie is a great company with great minds, I wish they would show that. I'm sure they are sitting back saying this is exactly what they wanted. When the expansions come out, they will have more story, more shaders (hopefully), ect. But I don't think they realize they are turning people off. When I first got Destiny, I thought I would cancel my pre-order of COD. Now I'm thinking about not only getting COD but maybe another game to tie me over until COD comes out. There is too much repetitiveness, not enough things that make your character or experience unique. I hope they release the expansion earlier than Dec., I hope they have free content such the game has been more of a disappointment than expected (not that it is a disappointment, just that such little things are disappointments and the story, that's a big thing). I am the type of person that when I stop playing a game and move on to the next, I hardly ever go back. And if I move on from Destiny at this point, it will leave such a sour taste in my mouth, I will probably not come back. Come on Bungie, pull your heads out of your a**, stop using your name to promote a game and use your dev's and research to promote the game. The very first hour I had this game on the night of it's release, I tweeted @Bungie, "A first person shooter MMO, great job! Prob the only way I would play an MMO". Now I can't wait to play more MMO's so thank you, but after the disappointing story and dropping the ball on so many things, I wish I could take that tweet back. I'm a PS$ guy, so I hardly played Halo, I respect Bungie for what they have done and I do play Destiny every night and enjoy it, but I have complaints, things can always be better, but the above are things that make up a game.

Also with shaders. I found one I really like but my armours color still shows. So even thiught it is shaded, its still blue in most parts so makes it look dumb. I do not understand why the whole item will not shade?
