DUH! It's obvious!
1) The work you put into the game is not ever proportional to rewards
2) About 4 hours of unique content that is spread out over hundreds of hours of gameplay
3) Everyone whines about stupid things (OMG! BLADEDANCER IZ SO POWERFALL@!!!)
4) Bungie spit took 500 million dollars and turned it into this
5) Destiny tries to be serious, while Borderlands is actually fun.
