1. Gun play and overall controls feels very smooth and responsive. 2. Hitbox/ collision detection on you and enemies are top notch. 3. It doesn't hold your hand to victory when it comes to challenge. 4. Co-op is very tolerable compared to Borderlands. 5. loot systems feels less grindy compared to Borderlands as Borderlands constantly rewards you little by little; giving a tons guns with slightly altered stats that you don't really need so the changes are very miniscule. In Destiny for example you get 2 different legendary shotguns; first one with a damage perk and reload perk and another legendary with a reload/range perk. In Destiny you get fewer weapon options but are more specific in so in short the design behind this is, "Less is more." The results feels more rewarding.

Tosh? I beg to differ, having played Borderlands 1 and 2 myself the hitbox for the game is cluttered and more blocky even with the lowest accurate weapon. In Destiny even though a hitbox in gaming terms is of polygon shape, the outline transitions are more smoother. Borderlands is not that difficult of a game really because of the constant rewards are always there and the punishment for failing is hardly noticable because of lack of penalty. Spend money to get revived so as long as you got cash in your pocket even if you only have $10, they'll simply just take $2 away, again not that big of a deal for losing. Co-op is more tolerable than borderlands because like I posted above, the game still feels like you're playing by yourself with just someone to talk to. In Destiny you'll begin to notice the difference because of how overall level design is handled; you have to think why the terrian of each level is created for specific boss enemies. In Borderlands, it's simply a wasteland bosses/ enemies just have increased health and damage output when you're in a team but if you're cool with that, more power to you. Loot system, that's the probelm I see with Borderlands giving you a bunch of things you want but you don't need. Sure I understand Destiny still has it's RNG problems but I prefer to have a gun that does specific task for my playstyle than gving me a bunch of guns like 2% more accuracey or another with 1.8% more critical and so on. . .again you hardly notice it. I'm not bashing you or Borderlands (just never gave that game a 2nd playthrough), I'm just explaining why these 2 games are different, not any of them are better than the other.

I feel like you only did one playthrough on these games and didn't attempt the better versions of it and didn't get the full extent of the loot system or the difficulty. Coop is better in Borderlands overall because the entire game was designed around coop and you can always have 4 people to play with. Also Destiny has the worst net code I've ever seen. I've killed people around corners on my screen and punched them dead a good 2-3 seconds after getting killed and I know this only accounts for pvp but I have noticed some very buggy fight in pve as well and the hitboxes feel the same to me in both games.
tosh means a joke
• The reason I didn't bother with a 2nd playthrough because of all the unnecessary hoarding. Even if I did, I'm only gonna get better stats but their overall changes are pretty insignificant regardless. It's like eating a bag of chips, you want to stop eating yet for some reason you can't. Also the only reason I stated Borderlands wasn't as difficult is because of lack penalty, so no matter what you do the punishment is extremely lenient on you. But there's nothing wrong with Borderlands difficulty since it's built around just to goof off most of the time so everyone is on equal ground. I agree that the netcode in Destiny does have it's issues but I never stated it was a perfect game by all means. Borderlands maybe built around co-op but you're actions doesn't seem to make much of a difference even in a group of 4 because it doesn't feel like the AI is designed to take on all 4 players.

I'm sorry but you just don't get the full experience in one play through. The guns just become much more interesting not with better stats but with unique features and difficulty is subjective to the level of the player and there loot. Trust me when I say the second play through is way better AI in borderlands is actually pretty smart especially against 4 players

We can agree to disagree from here. Something of Borderlands about being constantly rewarded doesn't feel special at all. I personally would rather wait to get that unique weapon than be giving a bunch of items every few minutes as if they leave a trail for you to pick up, well that and the controls feels very lackluster its also why I didn't give it a 2nd chance; it doesn't have an identity of what type of shooter it wants it to be? acrade, arena or realism so it's neither of those. The shooter apsects feels shallow. Finally the AI between Destiny and Borderlands is debatable but the only noticeable difference in Borders is increased health and damage output based on players level.

I can see that I don't agree however because legendary weapons are just as rare as exotics if not more so (because of Xur). A valid point non the less. Also I prefer there to be more difference in my levels than less but again a valid point.
