But parts of your argument as to why BL2 is better is based on its DLC... And if you really want to get down to it there was parts of the BL2 story that made no sense at all and now they are using a second game to further that story. So using your logic is BL2 a bad game because you have to spend $60 to fill in the holes and get the back story? I get that you want everying laid out in front of you but that's not how the world works and the sooner you understand that the better it will be.
