Over a course of like 10 years sure. Destiny has only been out a month and a half so that's invalid. Besides we aren't talking about CoD.

Sales are not in the game they are an outside source related to the game and in only a very tiny way indicate the quality of the product. Also an embargo on reviews for this game left people with a whole week after the release to ride the hype train and buy it which has dramatically boosted sales figures because Bungie new that they had perfected their marketing to the point where anticipation would over rule common sense.

Edited by Zant: 10/20/2014 3:24:58 AMYet you're on the official Destiny forums, trying to prove a point that does not exsist. Your response is opinionated. Which means literally nothing. On top of that, you brought CoD into this, when this post clearly says Borderlands.
Grow up
Look at my other responses I'm not trying to prove anything as some have come up with 5 good reasons and earned a cookie. Nice assumption though followed by an indication of superiority in your spoiler. Well played
I don't like you
From the implications, you were comparing games that just have no part in being compared together to begin with. I'll just drop the CoD statement altogether, but with Borderlands, it's an amazing game. Simply beautiful. -Blam-, I'm trying to get all of the achievements in Borderlands 2. But Destiny is not by 2K/Gearbox. It's by Bungie. Which right off the bat cannot be compared. Both companies as a whole do things differently. Should we have been ripped from already in-game content? No. Not by any means. But it's still a beautiful game. It has so much potential. Bungie is trying, regardless of what people think. That should be enough.
Good
We are on a different page I was slamming this guys "sales prove everything bro statement" Also the two games are similar and quality for all intents and purposes can always be compared regardless if how the game is. Also the two games are surprisingly similar and Bungie did use borderlands as some of it's inspiration.
I still don't like you

but I dislike you a little less
