• I know you're prolly trolling, and you're prolly pissed at Bumgie for shitting the bed with this game. I love Borderlands, Sirens are sexy and Krieg needs to be a character in every installment from now on. But you know, deep down inside, Destiny does some things right. If they ditched repetitive gameplay and actually added a ton of content in the next few months the game would be golden. Imagine if every mission were actually as diverse as the raid felt from the rest of the "protect Peter Dinklage while he checks some shit out"? Bumgie can do it. I just, really hope that the expansion leak is incorrect, because legit, that's like $5 worth of content. I was actually going to list 5 reasons but then I realized that the Soundtrack, Character Customization and Graphics are the only real things Destiny has over Borderlands 1, 2 and PS. This game needs Krieg. So badly.

 • I just hope this new DLC coming for Destiny isnt just 5 new missions of doing the same thing. "Walk towards area, defend ur ghost, defeat bullet sponge boss, and a new raid" Pls i hope theres more mission variety this time around.

 • Activision I think that there business practices led to a lot of key employees quitting. Just a theory though.

 • Ive enjoyed Activision games from the NES to now. I don't think it's them, I mean, they're in bed with Blizzard. Blizzard brought us Diablo and WoW. How could they -blam!- up an "MMO style" game so badly with Blizzard holding their hands? If it were EA I'd agree. But Activision, meh. They may be a giant publisher and easy to blame, but I personally think there was an epic power struggle within Bumgie itself.

 • I don't know man look at the microtransactions and map withholding in CoD. Honestly I think Activision is worse than EA because I enjoy most EA games*ques battlefield music*
but EA is still bad
• As far as maps go, that's standard practice now. 8 core maps, 4 maps per DLC which you can get for a one time payment of $40. Battlefield was worse, throwing in like 5 new weapons per map pack. At least CoD only had one new weapon in BO2 and two in Ghosts. We'll see what happens in AW.

 • No battlefield is much better. I was talking about those preorder maps though I've no problem with dlc just limited access and with held dlc. Also 1 battlefield map is like 4 Cod maps and the weapons bring new variety to the game for gun whore like me.

 • The Peacekeeper brought long range to the SMG class in BO2, I'll admit the Ghosts weapons didn't bring anything new to their respective categories, the Maverick is busted as shit with a Muzzle Brake though, 2 shot kill out to 25 meters. The -blam!- were they thinking, they havn't patched it at all either. The preorder maps, shitty Nuketown and that shitty Nuketown wannabe on Ghosts aren't anything special. Do they have one for AW? And Battlefield and CoD are two different games. One has 12 people, the other has 32(for their main game modes). They're two completely different beasts, I've played both extensively. Imagine cramming 32 people on a CoD map?

 • Uhh 64 player metro and lockers is awesome
sometimes
Honestly I've been CoDed out ever since Black Ops so idk about anything after that really other than what I read over the interwebs also AW does have a preorder map

 • I havn't been following AW as much because of other games, Bloodborne and No Man's Sky to be specific. But yeah, if its anything like the BO2 and Ghosts preorder map I won't be missing much. Locker and Metro are still pretty big... they're not like as massive as Golmud railway but they still dwarf CoD maps. I meant, imagine cramming a two 32 man teams on something like Nuketown. It might be fun but at the same time it'd get old, fast, haha. I'll still get AW because I'm pretty decent at CoD style multiplayer, fast TTK and all that. I love how in depth BF got with its guns though, being able to swap out attachments for all areas and not limited to two attachments per gun. I wish Destiny would have taken that route.

 • No weapon customization in any game comes close to battlefields I really wish more games would try and get close to it though. As for AW I'm thinking I'll just rent it and decide if I want to buy it from there.

 • I know right? People love customization, whether it be character or weapons. It gets interesting with modern weapons because a lot of us have that "weapon fetish" where we like to deck our guns out with specific details. And that's why I'm so disappointed that different upgrades in Destiny didn't add anything to the weapons outside of scopes. (Hipefire upgrade adding a sweet laser sight or field scout/extended changing the mag into a drum, different chokes on shotties and LMGs actually changing the appearance of the barrel, etc.)

 • Yeah Battlefield 4 was pretty -blam!-ed at launch. I had a good time with it after everything was fixed though. Activions microtransactions are focused on cosmetic items. You don't need them to do well, they just make you look better, sometimes. Weapon/Character skins, Snoop Dogg, n stuff.

 • Maybe but I just have sneaking suspicion that Activision is in it to maximize profits. I can't really prove it but I will point to every movie tie in game ever for some basis though.

 • Yeah I don't even touch those. I give Activision the benefit of the doubt when it comes to developers like Bungie, just letting them do their thing and make a great game. I've had fun with Destiny, but not as much fun as I've had with Borderlands, Diablo, Guild Wars... hell I even want to go back and play some Ghosts multiplayer right now, maybe even jump onto BF and fly some jets into the ground.
