You must have at least 5 unique reasons as to why Destiny is better to prove me wrong.
I would have said 10 but I doubt destiny has even 5.
-
You just now realized that?
-
Lol give me 5 reasons borderlands is better than destiny. This borderlands is not the same as the last two. Funny but the stuff seems so recycled.
-
It looks like a bad 2d cartoon , to much humor in it weapons are corny , worse then the last ones ,
-
It's all opinion
-
Borderlands turned to shit by not releasing on next gen consoles. There excuse was weak. Who cares now? I stopped following them on facie And you suck!
-
I got the new Lands last night because my friends all got it and kept bugging me to get it. I haven't touched my 360 so long that using that controller felt weird and jerky and the game feels buggy and jerky compared to Destiny. It was a weird feeling. But I still love Borderlands!
-
Even though the pre sequel is the weakest Borderlands entry, its still better than destiny.
-
Don't need 5 reasons only need one: Tiger Strike. Boo Yeah
-
Opinions are opinionated
-
I like the classes in destiny but other then that ya borderlands win
-
Then play borderlands and be on a borderlands forum?
-
Edited by whiteowlgrape: 10/23/2014 10:57:34 PMI agree but blurting it out on forums is kind of a dick move
borderlands is so much better though
-
Borderlands is Superior to destiny in every way.. Hell they have dlc, s that are bigger then destiny. More content better characters and more story
-
Well I guess we'll see how people feel when gearbox releases battleborn.
-
I don't need to prove anything to you pal. If you like borderlands so much stop comparing them and go play your game.
-
I love both. Just wish Destiny's story was magical like Borderlands or at least memorable characters.
-
Borderlands : the pre-sequel is the worst BL to date. I'll still play it a lot with friends, but yeah..its no where near as good as BL2. It has many of the same things people complain about in Destiny.
-
I dont even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain why you are absolutely 100% correct!
-
I've always been a fan of the Borderlands series, addicted to it really, but I will never know about the new game... didn't go next gen. Evil. Destiny however did and I love it. :)
-
Does borderlands have an endgame? I thought it was just an open world coop FPS game.
-
I like Destiny, is still the better one for me and in the future 10 years. Now you will think is a Game or a Hated game, but wait for the updates and DLCs (Expansions). Everything you think is bad, will be awesome.
-
That dog though.
-
I feel like the guns at least were a lot more varied. So much to choose from, sometimes I had trouble! BL 2 I mean. Haven't played the new one yet and probably won't for awhile. I don't like prequels and seems like you're playing the bad guys.
-
I have one thing to say. Don't post here if you are going to bitch about Destiny. Thanks

You can't really directly compare the two games; they are both FPS's yes, they both have loot mechanics yes, and beyond that......nope that's it. But I'll compare them anyway. Graphics: the destiny graphics are without a doubt more realistic; is this a good thing? Yes...and no. The graphics in destiny do their job: they give us beautiful environments and well rendered character models. The borderlands graphics are extremely cartoony; is this a bad thing? Again...yes and no. The cartoon/comic art style complements the over-the-top insane gunplay and constant stream of jokes perfectly. And the cartoony gore that splatters when you headshot a cartoony psycho is not something you can get in destiny. Loot: (before endgame) When you clear and area or complete a mission in destiny you can expect anywhere between 1 and 6 shiny new items all of which will be useful in some way, even if your current gear is better there'll always be a stat or two the new item has over the old. In borderlands you can expect to see anywhere between 12 and 30 guns drop when clearing a area, however you'll be lucky if 2 of them are any good. At endgame content nothing but purple rarity and above really matters in both games. Story: both games story's are full of holes; but destiny's lore is expanded through the grimor cards and is meant to be speculated on by the players ( I've had a lot of fun with my friends just coming up with theories), While in borderlands the story is all you get. Multiplayer: destiny can support up to 6 man groups while borderlands can support up to 4. Which doesn't really matter unless you have a lot of friends. Gameplay: destiny's gameplay is every bit as smooth as halo; while borderlands is kinda sloppy. Although It does have the over-the-top insane fun quality I talked about earlier. All in all; I love them both.....for very different reasons. :)

I just like being able to play both...
