(Don't) Nerf this Exotic!

So that first footage of the Vex Mythoclast hit the web. Like many, I knee-jerked when I saw that weapon in action and wanted it watered down and nerfed. Time passed, never went up against the Vex Myth in PvP, came to the realization that ultimately my chances of seeing it were extremely low. Only so many people have completed the Raid on hard mode and the Vex Mythos is not a guaranteed reward. Now, I'm seeing threads pop all over and it seems like now every Exotic is fair game. The Icebreaker shouldn't regenerate ammo, Pocket Infinity shouldn't have a full auto mode, Thorn shouldn't pierce and poison, the Universal Remote shouldn't have the ability to be used as a primary, Suros Regime too OP. I'm not saying tweaks and balances shouldn't happen but what's the point of these weapons being so hard to obtain if they aren't equally as powerful? It sounds like some people just want these to be fancy skinned legendaries or rares even. I understand losing in PvP is frustrating to some people (I hate losing. I can't even let a child beat me without plotting terrible revenge.) but these special weapons won't be so special anymore if they become so watered down they're just like every other gun. There's no reason to be upset.

  • I think things just weren't done right, weapons need a lot more balancing and when its comes to exotics they should only have perks that give them an edge perhaps. We just shouldn't be seeing exotics having more OP then the already OP weapons stats (or retarded Bungie bars). The reward of getting hard earned gear is that it should take you higher to obtain that even sweeter looking gear, but really this game is a barrens really. An Exotic already looks sweet, giving it slighly higher damage (THAT ONLY WORKS FOR PVE) and neat little perks should be about it; an Exotic shouldn't be having better stats then Legendary's. Legendary's should have higher stats then blue, and blues over greens. The loot and gear system is shit, well so is the reward system. There really is no point in sharing in detail, this game is beyond help (I mean that Bungie has giving up, its just going to shit out some small patches and over priced dlcs). Well, - Legendary's = Kind of like Diablo rares: Random in the element, random 2 main perks (possibly a bit more). More legendary's!. - Item name's includes prefix and suffix based on perks. - Exotics = Pretty much what i've said. FAR more exotics, but ACTUALLY EARNED(Only found from certain challenge modes or very lucky). Any unique perks can't be too powerful, stats shouldn't be touched. Not limited for equip (weapon and armor). - Blue, not as powerful as purples in stats or damage/armor. - Greens, not as powerful as blues in stats or damage/armor. - Whites.... ya I dunno, the game needs a crafting system... even then we should just forget them. - Crafting!, crate perks that replace current ones on guns (different quality, mats found from farming and breaking down gear). - Zones All get scaled up properly to different tiers of the player and have farm for higher quality craft. (like all lvl 20 when you hit lvl 20, then another scale up when you hit 25, 30). A whole lot of touching up on the strikes, nightfall, limit of players, VoG, tier gear, adding match making. Everything for PvE needs a drop kick to the face. Just all reworked to properly challenge and reward players, also properly tier things. Well, that's all i will give it. Not that its painful to be creative or not fun, but pointless waste of time when Bungie is just going to throw out the life boats.
