So... I made a 2nd character, a warlock. In the Sunsinger tree there is an ability "Flame Shield" that auto-activates the moment you hit someone in PVE/PVP (assuming it's not on CD).
Why is it the supposedly tanky Titan class that is meant to be the more front lines character HAS TO KILL their target with Storm Fist (or w/e it's called in defender tree) to get Force Barrier?! Yet a warlock automatically gets an overshield just by melee'ing someone.
As a lot of the Titan's (def) abilities revolve around 'Force Barrier' I think it should be changed to activate on melee (once again, assuming it's not on CD).

As a defender and sunsinger, I couldn't agree more. While the sunsinger doesn't fall into CQ or long range, it shouldn't receive a better CQ bonus than the CQ class. If I had my way, they'd be swapped. Since that won't happen, the closest thing would make both activate either on kill or on melee.
