I'm pretty sure If you're able to hear the hunter activate Blade Dancer, there's no point in running away....if you can hear it, you are already too late.

Nope. Wrong. I hear it and immediately go back the way I came from unless I really do hear it and have no easy way out.

If I'm completely wrong then you're saying you have always gotten away from a blade dancer....so have you?

Yes. I even shot them down. If worse comes to worst I'll even pop mine up and put them down. The only time I don't get away is when I forgot how to aim (player error in case you want to know) and I know that was my fault.
