Oh, undoubtedly. For one thing you actually did different quests in those areas instead of repeating the exact same mission a thousand times. And whether you liked the plot of DA2 or not, at least it had one that was clearly thought out and properly explained in-game. Plus a big cast of highly memorable (if not always like-able) characters. Destiny is lacking on all of those fronts, but still has the flaws of recycled environments and DLC that's already on the disk.
I do still enjoy Destiny though. It's not the epic space Odyssey it promised to be, but at least it's still a fun platform to interact with my friends while mowing down waves of aliens.
