I waited with excitement for Destiny since seeing the E3 footage last year. I even pre-ordered and bought 4 white PS4 Destiny bundles for the kids to join me and kept them off school due to their "sickness" that day. So it's no surprise that I was left a little disappointed by the lack of options for our characters to become more unique or environments with invisible walls and "turn back" boundaries let alone the usual issues we're all well aware should have been in the game on release.
People like us make games with similar personal character development and involvement and interaction into part of our lives to relax. It become our "go to" fun when we've had a busy day or just something to take our minds off the crap that we can't seem to fix in our real lives. It means something to us to have this game (and games like this that advertise long haul, deep personalization on our on-screen characters) meet the standards that we need to progress otherwise you're left feelin incomplete or frustrated that you can't progress and that results in just logging in and being bored...but still logging in.
To say we may have psychological issues is a guarantee but its a fact that games companies rely on to create the addictive quality they need in their games to keep us hooked before the government actually acknowledges game addiction as something more than "Loner kids" syndrome.
I felt like taking to the forums and complaining constantly.
This is what the people who "troll" are doing. It's because they were the games biggest fans and were left disappointed. The way some of them try and get their point across does become rather insulting but I think some understanding and patience is required.
For those people who just say "if you don't like it go play something else", well, you're probably never more involved in any game like this that hosts character development online further than picking a side and shooting opposition.
It's the real fans who really want the game to be great and to them, I suggest thinking about how you want to get your point across in a productive way instead of trying to pile on pressure for the developers to do something about the things we really hoped were in the game.
To Bungie, keep listening to the community. We all want this game to be great. We all want to log in and know we're going on a long trip to get that special "something" we've been working for and hopefully, eventually, expectations on both sides will be satisfied:)

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it. I will admit the flaws in the game but I have no tolerance for people who make up illogical arguments on why a game isn't good and parade the flaws around on a crusade to make the rest of us miserable because they felt "let down". I will happily sit down and DISCUSS the flaws of a game. I will not however, crusade to ruin the experience for others as 90% of those who complain are trying to do.
