No its not contradicting at all. Hes referring to killing other men. It clearly states that Im allowed to eat animals as well as plants.
Even if prices dropped, that still doesnt mean Africans will have enough money to buy it. They dont have enough money for anything. That goes for hobos too. Ppl might buy it for them, but wont make it more affordable.
Sure I pay for it, but wouldnt you rather pay for it so that the calf died for a reason rather than it just to be thrown out and the calf die for no reason??

Prices will drop, more people will be able to afford food, history teaches us that when people have food, they have time and money for other stuff, like helping others, developping methods for helping others or just help themselves to get out of poverty. At least no'one will be too poor to buy food anymore. The meat wiil be stocked, 'till someone else buys it, but that way the demand will decrease and less animals will be used, 'till it totally ends.
