I find a lot of people talking about how fusion rifles and shotguns are OP and how easy it is to get kills with them... Well as "Special" weapons shouldn't they be a little more powered than primaries? I think the real reason they can be considered overly powered is the fact that with how often special ammo drops in the crucible, you can go through an entire match with specials and not bat an eyelash in consideration to ammo supplies. In PVE you run out occasionally, or often depending on difficulty, and have to switch back to your primary while in PVP you simply have enough ammo to pick up from crates or corpses to just keep going and never switch. I don't think the weapons need a nerf because nerfing them nerfs them in PVE as well, where they function exactly as they should. IMHO Bungie just needs to cut down the drop rate of special ammunition in PVP. However this is just one fan's opinion. What about all of you casuals, fellow fans, gamers, and trolls? Would a nerf be necessary if you restricted their usage with ammo like heavies?
