Events on Earth in multiple locations have a good chance to happen twice an hour, not every 50 minutes. That gives you the possibility for 6 events an hour on Earth with close distance from one to the next with time to spare. To get the max events an hour you then jump to orbit between planets to catch events in-between or if an event doesn't show.
