F*** Thorn.
I hope which ever designer thought it'd be cool for us to go run around the crucible killing with a void damage to get this revolver has a strong a beautiful family.
I hope he has a son that he's proud of and hopes to see grow and flourish into a proud young man with his entire life ahead of him.
And then I hope somebody kills that son with void damage.

2 RepliesI am at best, "above average" in PvP and got this part done in about 10 matches. Just get a shotgun or fusion and heavy weapon with void damage and get at least 1 kill to every 2 deaths. Sheesh, this isn't even the hardest part of the bounty.

1 ReplyMy buddy and I thought the same thing at first but once you get a void weapon that you can roll with and start doing it it's not that bad tbh. Got it done in a 2 hour session. Just depends on how many kills you can rack up per match. For some it will be harder and for others it'll be a breeze. But both just had to sit down and get it done. Just rip it off like a bandaid.

Yep, I now have vanguard legendary pistol, which is waay better than thorn. Before that I had a blue one, which was still better.

If someone who doesn't play PvP can do it then I'm sure you can manage. I went into the Crucible just to do that bounty with a Void sniper Rifle (only void weapon I had at the time) and 20 control games later I had that part of the bounty complete. Work a bit for it and I'm sure you'll get there

But hey, Bungie said they're going to buff Thorn... oh wait, nevermind, that was weeks ago and instead we get the engram color code system fixed. But hey, at least Bungie is nerfing autos and shotties, especially the Suros... oh wait, nevermind, they only said they would do that, too. But hey, Bungie is listening to us. I read that all the time in their statements. Unfortunately they're just listening and not actually doing anything about it.

3 RepliesSo you want easy exotics? Exotics are called exotics for a reason. Work for it and you get a reward. Took me a while to do it with only a void sniper but I did it. Averaged around 70 points when I played on the moon.

This was my least favorite part of the bounty, and I had a fully leveled up void fusion rifle, sniper rifle, and a decent blue rocket launcher. I did bad juju's crucible bounty at the same time, and got it finished in half the time (it's for twice the points, too). It is just annoying to have to do this for how mediocre Thorn is. If they buff its damage over time to make sense (not be locked out until one wears off, what BS is that?) and buff the reload time it might be a reasonable choice. As it stands there is no reason to use this over The Last Word or even a legendary cannon. I have gone up against a few decent Thorns before, and it is a decent gun, just not the best. Stacking damage over time would be the bees knees.

4 RepliesDid the quest in 3 hours, was pretty easy with heavy void machine gun and Sniper and PvP-Skills. But Thorn is way too weak, only 6 Bullets and the reload is much to slow, i hope they fix it to justify the name "epic-weapon" ;)
