With a brevet mutation does the original donor die after sharing the imprint? From what I understand the Didact in Cryptum was killed by the master builder but maybe he would have died anyway.
I have just started the last book in the forerunner saga trilogy and I haven't read the 72 hours after Halo 4 comics yet.
