Have you tried shockwave? It's not a projectile persay, but it does direct the Arc energy in a direction in stead of a circle. I've found this helps enormously at times.

I might have to go back to striker to try it out.

ungodly short ranged compared to psions range with it... it only adds another 20ft or so to your attack range. still VERY easily avoided.
